Nora & Morgan

Granddaughter Morgan joined us for a week aboard the boat and visit to Washington.  We spent the week seeing the many sights of the city, which included visits to the Smithsonian, all of the memorials, Arlington and the White House with Congressman Dennis Moore's wife Stephanie, followed by a visit to the Capitol where Morgan was invited to the floor of the House with Congressman Moore and where she met several other MC's.  Afterward we visited Dennis in his office and he sang Puff the Magic Dragon and played the guitar for Morgan, to her delight. 

We met Chip Lee the captain of the Sequoia and he welcome us aboard for a tour of the boat, which was a real treat.  The boat is currently privately owned and available for short charters (4 hours for $12,500).  It has a lot of photos of presidents and dignitaries.  Chip gave me a Sequoia cap.  Also came aboard and tried to help me with the A/C problem during the second week of our stay.
